 The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

I worked on the modeling and texturing for visual effects in the Disney feature production, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Utilizing thousands of digital images, along with proprietary software, Photoshop and Maya, I worked to create Digital Doubles for the character “Son-Loc” used in the special effect scenes. Below is a clip from the movie.

Medical Visualizations

I worked on several medical visualizations during my time at the University of Missouri’s School of Medicine. Some were used for patient education and other for a stereoscopic movie called “All Systems Go,” a health science museum located in Columbia, MO. I managed the project, including: script development, storyboarding, creating animatic and models, and giving art direction. This movie is made to be viewed with 3D stereoscopic glasses, and includes some samples from those projects.

University of Missouri Proposed Sports Park

I supervised the development of a 3D architectural visualization of the proposed MU Sports Park, which was built in 2003. I also served as the lead texture artist and worked on modeling, lighting and the video editing. The project was created with Softimage. Models were created by architects in CAD before being converted, textured and animated in Softimage.

YouZeum

The YouZeum DVD was created in Maya and Final Cut Pro as a tool for fundraisers. It is a 3D walkthrough of the proposed exhibits. I managed and assisted with the development of all graphics and supervised necessary editing.
